Lasting Peace Group: An Iranian Initiative to Strengthen Eurasian Geoeconomic Ties
following the official signing of a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the China National Railway Forum in Xi'an, the Lasting Peace Group officially launched its international operations. Headquartered under the supervision of the Lasting Peace Think Tank in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Group has commenced its business through two specialized subsidiaries in the People's Republic of China: "Lasting Peace Company" in Hainan and "Xi'an Lasting Peace Logistics Company" in Xi'an.
Lasting Peace Company has started operations with a core focus on international commerce, particularly in the areas of import and export of commercial goods, including oil, petrochemicals, and essential commodities. The company also serves as an innovative platform for IT development, knowledge transfer, and foreign investment attraction, in alignment with sustainable development and international collaboration objectives.
Simultaneously, Xi'an Lasting Peace Logistics Company operates as the logistics arm of the Group, overseeing strategic railway transport initiatives between Iran and China, including the development of the Incheh Borun hub along the China–Iran–Europe corridor. These projects are being advanced in collaboration with local authorities, national institutions, and international stakeholders.
With institutional support from regional and domestic entities, Lasting Peace Group is committed to deepening cultural and economic cooperation between Iran and China, and to enhancing Iran's strategic role in the Eurasian supply chain through transparent, innovative, and sustainable development models.
